Robert Smith was born in Nottinghamshire and moved to Leicestershire during his early childhood.

Throughout his school years Robert excelled in art in many different mediums

After marrying, and bringing up two daughters, Robert progressed from oils to experimenting with water colours and different air brush techniques.

Roberts unique style is self taught and has evolved over the past 20 years.

With a natural flair for translating beautiful landscape scenes from local villages into stunning water colour paintings Robert is now one of the Midlands leading aerographic watercolour artists.

Roberts latest work has been published as signed limited edition prints on fine art textured paper using light fast pigment inks.

Robert is pleased now to be launching his latest collection of limited edition landscapes nationally along side a new website www.smithyfineart.co.uk
