Philippa Day designs and creates her work in her sewing parlour in Derbyshire, mostly supervised by Jed, her delinquent Border Collie.

She has a deep love of sumptuous textiles: and gets terribly over-excited by the dupion silks, real leather, vintage buttons, fancy ribbons and the yummiest of rich velvets and brocades which she uses in her work.

Recently, Philippa was accepted as a Member of the Cotswold Craftsmen, and was judged Best Newcomer at the RHS Spring Garden Show Crafts Area.

Each piece of work she make is a one-off, and will never be replicated.
Shapes of designs may be similar, but every item is different in the way Philippa put the fabrics together and adds the detailing.

Philippa sources all her materials as locally as possible and is passionate about keeping traditional craft skills alive and kicking.
