DR Comms, PR Marketing,
A local service provider from Swadlincote
DR Comms was established in summer 2008 to ensure companies get the credit they deserve and publicity they crave. The company is run by David Rider ACIPR who has more than 20 years of relevant experience and has worked for the BBC, NHS, South Derbyshire CVS and a development agency in Leicestershire. He decided to set up his own consultancy after he perceived there were growing needs in Swadlincote, the National Forest and beyond.
David wants to increasingly work with a variety of clients, mostly small to medium enterprises, and relishes the opportunity of getting them in the local and specialist press, helping them enter new markets, copywriting including updating of text for websites and producing a wide range of publications from annual reports, to brochures and newsletters.
As DR Comms is a small business itself it can tailor make a package to suit all clients and David is welcoming the opportunity to meet with potential new customers and discuss their communication needs. In some cases a new strategy is required, there may be existing marketing materials to review or it may be a one off press release that needs drafting and upon approval issuing to the media. DR Comms is also able to take images to accompany press releases that are issued.
If a more comprehensive service is required DR Comms is prepared to negotiate with journalists to ensure a press release has the desired outcome and enter it on the customers own website. In addition DR Comms offers advice on printing and other suppliers and in some cases will organise advertising to support projects.
David Rider whole heartedly supports the ethos of trading with local companies/suppliers and has made many contacts through Gresley Rovers Football Club whilst looking to improve their profile and attract new sponsors. The name will be familiar amongst all fans of the Moat men as David has been a reporter of the clubs fortunes for over 15 years.
