Gang delight Ashbeian Musical Theatre Group

Rehearsals are well under way for the up and coming production of ‘Oliver’. This will be performed by the members of the Ashbeian Musical Theatre Group along with 36 talented children, not forgetting Blondi a white English Bull Terrier.

The Production team comprising of David McKnight (Director), Howard Marriott (Musical Director) and Deborah Wilson (Choreographer) are looking to achieve a ‘West End’ standard production which will leave the audiences coming back for more next year. Oliver is opening in the West End 12th December and is selling very well. Oliver in Ashby opens Tuesday 31st March 2009 and has nearly sold out. Before the tickets went on sale preference booking orders took just under 600 ticket sales. Before Christmas ticket sales are in excess of 1,300 leaving just under 500 tickets available. The show will be performed at the Ivanhoe College, North Street, Ashby and runs from Tuesday 31st March to Saturday 4th April 2009.
