Whitwell Hotel and Conference Centre is a 16th century, 8 acre estate with a stunning location on the shores of Rutland Water, featuring original stone built accommodation and conference rooms.

We offer first class conference facilities in a peaceful location, ideal for reflection and learning. Our conferencing facilities include a variety of conference rooms to suit large or small groups. Conference rooms can be arranged flexibly and can accommodate up to 80, theatre style.

For the more out going delegates we have a team build area and our on site team are available to create and implement the day’s activities. For the more adventurous there is always the option of water based activities on Rutland Water.

Whitwell currently offers 26 en-suite bedrooms situated throughout four country houses. Each bedroom consists of the modern amenities, while still maintaining the original character of the country houses, including; television, radio alarm clock, direct dial telephone, and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests have use of a lounge area, 24 hour bar, internet access, a fully equipped exercise room and cycle hire. Our guest accommodation provides the prefect base from which to explore Rutland and Rutland Water, the ideal location for sailing, windsurfing, cycling, fishing and much much more….

Besides catering for conference and training delegates, Whitwell is a popular venue for social events such as private parties, barbeques and weddings, all of which can be tailored to suit your needs. Set among the trees, with a stream bubbling outside our Osprey room with its oak beams and simple architectural design is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and civil partnerships.
