EMDG meetings are held on the second Friday of the month at the Memorial Hall, Church Street, Bramcote Nottingham.

Discussions and talks cover a wide variety of dowsing-related topics including dowsing for water, archaeological dowsing, below-ground structures, healing and earth energies.

Site visits, with practical dowsing exercises, are held every month during the summer. See the Events Diary for full details.

Who are the EMDG?

Those who dowse, or want to know more about dowsing, and live in the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire area may be interested to learn of the thriving East Midlands Dowsing Group.

The group have regular monthly meetings at:

The Memorial Hall, Church Street, Bramcote, Nottingham

on the second Friday of the month, 7.30-9.30pm.

The meetings provide an excellent opportunity for members to exchange interests and ideas.

Occasional invited speakers broaden our knowledge with subjects where dowsing may be applied. Indoor pursuits such as map dowsing also feature during these evenings.

Field visits are designed to acquaint those new to the art with the wide variety of reactions to be expected while actively dowsing. The more established members will offer advice and help to the beginner.

An objective of the group’s activities is to gain verification of findings whenever possible using conventional methods.
