Turning Point is the UK’s leading social care organisation. We provide services for people
with complex needs, including those affected by drug and alcohol misuse, mental health
problems and those with a learning disability.

Asking for advice and help can be hard for some people and can take a lot of courage. Our staff are sensitive to the needs of individuals who contact us and don’t make judgements about people’s substance use or lifestyle choices. We will support people with whatever level of change they feel comfortable with, whether this is achieving a drug and alcohol free life, or gaining control over their drug or alcohol use.

How can we help?

From our offices in Loughborough and Coalville we offer a range of services to people aged 18 and over living in the Charnwood and North West Leicestershire area:

Drop-in

You can get immediate access to support and advice during our set drop-in times. Project workers are available to offer informal and confidential services if needed. There are various leaflets available providing information on drugs/alcohol use and other related topics for the general public, parents/carers and professionals.

One-to-one Support

In regular key-working session we will help you address your individual needs and develop a plan to achieve your goals.

You can get support and advice through our telephone advice line and gain further information about our services and the drug treatment system.

• Assessment and referral for drug treatment
• Needle exchange and harm reduction advice
• Outreach services, including the Sharp Action Van
