The restaurant at the Queen’s Head is attracting rave reviews for the precision of our modern British menus, using local and sustainable produce where possible. Our terrace is the perfect place to dine after discovering what the National Forest and the counties of Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire have to offer. Our head chef, David Ferguson, is becoming renowned for his Modern British cuisine. The restaurant has recently (Feb 2009) retained its second AA Red Rosette for the third year running.

The Queen’s Head can offer 6 comfortable en-suite bedrooms. Each room is equipped with a flat screen digital TV with DVD player, tea & coffee making facilities, complimentary mineral water, the finest in toiletries & most importantly comfortable beds. We can also help to arrange additional accommodation at, and transport to, many local hotels. The AA 4**** bedrooms offer the perfect nights sleep. B&B starts at just £80 per room! Dinner, Bed & Breakfast is just £150 per couple including a bottle of house wine.

Licensed to hold civil ceremonies for up to 60 in our private room. If you are looking for a venue for a small and intimate celebration our Private Dining Room is ideal. Parties of between 10 and 40 guests can comfortably be accommodated for the wedding breakfast. In summer we offer al-fresco dining on our covered deck. Drinks receptions take place in the garden and/or on the deck if the weather permits.

If however you are looking for a larger celebration, up to 110 guests can be seated using both the restaurant and bistro.
