Running Fox is based in Loughborough, home to many of the country’s leading lights in athletics.

Rosemary and her sister Kate manage the store on a day-to-day basis. The name, Running Fox, comes from the county’s association with the animal. It’s the mascot for Leicester City Football Club among others.

Rosemary is an ex international athlete and in 1985 she opened Running Fox which sincve that time has gone from strength to strength. Kate is an ex-nurse and midwife

Running Fox has always prided itself on expert fitting advice for many kinds of athletic footware. This has been supplemented in the past with specialist fitting occasions when trained fitters have visited the shop using the latest gait analysis techniques as a free service to our customers.

Running Fox is proud to announce that we are now able to offer our own in store gait analysis using the latest Dartfish software and Proform treadmill equipment. This service is free to assist customers purchasing trainers from our store. Staff will be happy to use the equipment to advise members of the public who are not purchasing footware but reserve the right to make a charge for this service.
