The charity offers interest free Business Start Up loans up to £12,000 for people aged over 18 and under 35 looking to set up business in Leicestershire or Rutland, we offer these interest free loans for a period of 9 years.

We are an Equal Opportunities organization providing interest free loans for new business ideas and young businesses needing investment. Eligible candidates may borrow up to £12,000 interest free for 9 years to establish themselves in their chosen career.

To be eligible for consideration for a loan you must be over 18 and under 35; you must conduct your business in Leicestershire or Rutland for the duration of the loan, and must be able to demonstrate that the business has the potential to succeed. You must also have a need for the loan, without which your ability to proceed with the project would not be assured.

Post-graduate Education Loans

We also offer interest free education loans up to £5,000 to people aged under 35 who have lived in Leicestershire or Rutland for a minimum of 5 years (time spent studying away from Leicestershire/Rutland qualifies if home address remains within the specified area) and who have a need for the loan to enable them to embark on a higher degree course.
