Welcome to The Pepper Tree Burton’s newest wine bar, bistro and bar.

The food is unashamedly Italian with the very best of traditional and contemporary British cooking, delivered with passion and care in a warm and inviting environment. Our wine cellar is sure to have a bottle or two to suit your taste, with a wide selection from some of the most renowned countries of the world old and new, all this making The Pepper Tree great for Meeting, Eating, Drinking, Lounging and Relaxing.

We open daily at 10.00am serving fine Italian coffee and pastries throughout the day. Lunch is served Monday – Saturday between 12.00 & 3.00pm and dinner is served from 6.00pm until 9.30pm. On Sundays food is served 12.00 until 5.00pm; we are closed Sunday evenings.

Why not extend your office into The Pepper Tree? We offer a range of flexible packages to clients wanting to hold small delegate meetings or a working lunch. Complementary use of our Wi-Fi service is available to all customers. We also offer a lunch pre-order service so that we can ensure everything is ready for you when you arrive.

The Pepper Tree has an eclectic mix of furniture, offering sofas and comfy tub chairs as well as high tables and stools. At night the mood changes, when we play funky chill out tunes and serve cocktails to complement our fine wines. When you visit you will receive a warm welcome from our friendly team, who will be willing to show you to your table and look after you for the evening.

We are the perfect venue to meet with friends for coffee, relax after work with a glass of wine, enjoy a cool beer at our bar, sample our fine Italian tapas or dine from our bistro menu, or why not visit us on one of our popular live music nights.
