Proactive Appliance Testing is based in South Derbyshire, dedicated to delivering a quality service to all our customers.

To reflect this we are registered with NAPIT, The National Association of Professional Inspectors & Testers, & TRUSTMARK and CRB checked.

What we offer to do for YOU!

We are a company that carries out Portable Appliance Testing on electrical equipment, helping you to comply with both legislation and the requirements of your insurance company.
We carry out minor repairs to plugs and leads during the course of inspection. Each appliance is comprehensively tested to meet the requirements of the IEE Code of Practice and results recorded to ensure auditable traceability.
The Seaward Tester is calibrated annually and recorded.

We are a low overheads company, which has a low pricing structure in place, helping companies and organizations like you.

240v Appliances £1.50p per test
110v Appliances £1.80p per test

Minimum Charge per visit (locally)

Up to 20 appliances £ 30.00

We believe in being completely open about our charges. There are no hidden extras to pay for.

We DO NOT charge extra for fuses & rewiring of plugs and with NO RETEST fees.

Daily / weekend rates can be arranged, depending on location & times required to suit your company needs, keeping disruption to a minimum.
