Situated on the outskirts of Smisby Village in the heart of the National Forest you will find The Tap House Bar & Restaurant. Refurbished throughout in October 2006 to modernise the building, whilst retaining the country feel, it provides an ideal atmosphere for a friendly drink and chat.

There is a seated bar area to enjoy your drink or to relax after eating. The restaurant provides a choice of carvery or a selection of fantastic dishes on our evening menu. All of the delicious food is cooked to order with fresh local produce. Whilst enjoying the delicious food you can sample the well-kept real ales, draught lagers and cider along with the extensive variety of wines.

Outside you will find a new children’s play area and a covered pool table area. Whilst enjoying the newly built seated patio area you can enjoy the opportunity to view all major sporting events shown on subscription sports channels.
