We are based in the centre of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, above the town hall in a lovely spacious grade II listed room with feature fireplaces and sash windows…. follow the scissors on the ground floor and it will lead you straight upstairs to us!

The Locks Smith has seven professional stylists that specialise in all aspects of hair design from hair extensions right through to modern day colouring and cutting techniques, our team regularly attend academies and seminars to extend their skills in the field of hair design.

We are a unisex salon and offer an extensive range of treatments to men, women and we also welcome children, offering five late night appointments Monday-Friday till 7.30pm (by appointment) and Saturdays till 4.30pm.

We specialise in wedding hair and offer Sunday opening by request with a portfolio of pictures for you.

The Locks Smith only uses the highest quality products Schwarzkoft, Wella, ghd, and Tigi that give you as the client the best results.

We stock the full range of ghd products including the styling irons, and the complete range of tigi s factor, bedhead and catwalk products resulting in many offers of free products within these ranges.
We offer a loyalty scheme and many special promotions throughout the year that enables you as a client to receive the best possible service at a competitive price!

In addition to the usual treatments we are now performing free training sessions for clients so they can get the best out of their styling products and irons, advise, help and demonstrations are carried out throughout these special days at no cost to you!!
