Children and those who work with them really do matter to us. So in addition to being our philosophy it is our passion, which means that you can trust that, at Kids Matter, we care about the welfare of your children almost as much as you do.

Launched in September 2006 Kids Matter is a Nanny/Childcare Consultancy supplying experienced childcare practitioners to parents, nurseries and other organisations needing quality professionals. Managing Director Samantha Kelly comments “it has been an ambitious and exciting venture. We aim to live up to our name. We work on the basis that children, and those caring for children, matter. Having a positive influence on children’s lives is important; it helps shape their future.”

Samantha has over twenty years experience in recruiting childcare professionals from across the globe to sensitive positions. In addition she has the insight of working as a Nanny and a Teacher here and overseas.

Before launching Kids Matter Samantha was Involved In developing Recruitment Companies from scratch in London and the Midlands. Applying the best practises of the recruitment industry, and particularly the processes of recruiting to sensitive positions, is a key part of Kids Matter’s approach, “we will look at each Nanny’s skills and experiences as well as interests, education and circumstances. Combine this with careful vetting and checks and we are able to ensure the Nanny matches our Client Families profile as closely as possible”.

Based at offices at Staunton Harold Hall near Ashby de la Zouch covering the Midlands, Kids Matter is aware that there is a growing demand for quality & flexible childcare throughout the region. “More parents are looking at Nannies and Mother’s Helps on a part-time or Nanny-share basis. It’s the one-to-one care offered by Nannies that is the main attraction for many parents when choosing childcare.”

Even before Kids Matter launched we became approved members of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and its specialist Childcare Sector. We have adopted their approved practices to ensure thorough screening of every candidate. We also joined the NCMA, “we don’t intend to take any shortcuts to help us succeed.”

Kids Matter was also very quickly accredited by ‘Best Bear’ website used nation-wide by parents and Nannies in search for a quality service.

Furthermore we are pleased to announce that we now feature in the Good Nanny Agency Guide for the Midlands.
