Futureminds is a local psychological service offering a range of therapies both conventional and holistic for emotional wellbeing. We have comfortable and private consulting rooms in Market Street, Ashby and offer day and evening appointments. We have clients travelling from all over the Midlands to our rooms in Ashby due to the success and range of therapies on offer. We also work nationally to private fostering agencies, schools and other educational establishments as well as offering consultation on reducing stress in the workplace.

The team at Futureminds is made up of psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, hypnotherapists, complimentary therapist, nutritional therapist and homeopath all of which are experienced, qualified and registered with their relevant professional bodies.

At Futureminds we have many years experience of working with adults, children and families using approaches and interventions that help clients move forward in their lives in the minimum amount of time (an average of 6 sessions). We recognise the importance of working as a team in order to offer the best possible service and outcome and as a team we offer a range of therapies including: individual counselling, couple counselling, psychosexual counselling, family therapy, emotional freedom technique, reiki, nutrional therapy, homeopathy, psychology, child and adolescent behavioural issues, parenting programmes, human givens and solution focussed counselling.

We work in partnership with our clients in a positive, respectful, non-judgmental and anti oppressive manner and believe that all human beings have the capacity the help themselves with the right support and guidance.

Our experience has also extended to working in organisations using similar techniques to achieve better working relationships and minimise work place stress. We can offer employers a confidential therapy service for employees on an individual basis avoiding the need to commit to expensive employee assistance programmes. We also offer training on reducing work place stress therefore increasing productivity, staff moral and staff retention.

We have also been extremely successful in working within schools and colleges by creating change for more challenging students by using a whole system approach. This has created change not only for the student/learner but for whole classes and schools.

We have recently developed the Abingdon and Witney model which has been endorsed by Abingdon and Witney College. This model is now being rolled out to other schools and other education establishments locally and nationally.
