Fine Cuisine, based at the Lyric Rooms, was formed in 1988 by Jayne Mansfield and Laura Bryant.

The Lyric Rooms, which is in Lower Church Street, Ashby de la Zouch was previously a cinema called the Lyric Picture Palace. The cinema, which opened in 1912, was originally the former Wagon & Horses public house. The Lyric Rooms as it is today is the result of extensive renovations undertaken during the early 1980s and is now available for private hire.
