Emma began her salon, located in the Forge, North Street Ashby de la Zouch on her own and soon built up a strong and creative team of hairdressers around her to build her salons.

She has a ladies salon, a gent’s barbers and a beauty, nails and tanning salon adjacent to the hair salon.

Emma is constantly searching to keep her salon fresh, attractive and to devlop her artistic, hairdressing ambitions and dreams.
As the owner of Cutting Edge Emma loves hairdressing and puts all her time and determination into her businesses.
Throughout the 12 years of owning the business Emma has become the winner of the Leicestershire top Trainer 2004-5 receiving 5 nominations from colleges for her training and young apprentices on Level’s II and III NVQ hairdressing
Emma embraces the hairdressing industry in every respect from loving cutting people’s hair so making them feel like a million dollars to taking time out to train young people starting off by sharing tricks of the trade and eventually seeing them use their skills in her salons.

Recently Emma branched out and launched a second salon specializing in beauty, tanning and nails.
This is adjacent to the hair salons and called Matisse and offers a range of treatments using Thalgo skincare range, nails by backscratcher with either fibre glass or acrylic applications and tanning with famous brands such as Fake Bake and Solglo.
Other treatments offered by fully qualified staff include massages, hopi candles, pedicures, manicures, waxing, tinting, semi permanent make up and Botox.
